Today, Andermatt comprises more than 10 specialised production companies and 27 distribution companies across four continents. With an extensive international network of partners united by a shared vision, Andermatt proudly supports growers in over 60 countries, helping them produce high-quality crops with reduced use of chemical inputs.

Anthesis, based in Greece, specialises in biological solutions and residue-free crop management programmes. It was founded in 2004 by George Komianos, M.Sc., an agronomist educated at the Agricultural University of Athens and Wageningen University.

Following a successful career spanning many years with Dutch companies, he decided to introduce integrated crop management for residue-free production throughout Greece.

In 2021, the management of Anthesis took a major step by officially joining the Andermatt Group, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that support sustainable agriculture, beekeeping, and home and garden care. This partnership aims to drive the continued growth of Anthesis and the Andermatt Group in Greece, promoting the production of high-quality food while reducing the environmental impact of agricultural practices.

In 2025, building on the reputation and global recognition of the Swiss Andermatt Group, Anthesis changed its name to Andermatt – Anthesis. This rebranding marks a milestone in the company’s history, bringing together the stability and productivity of the Swiss Group with the dynamism and flexibility of its Greek subsidiary to fulfil a shared vision: Safe Food and a Healthy Environment for All!
